Purpose
Pixar Animation Studios is renowned for creating a series of animated films that have captivated audiences of all ages with their innovative storytelling, memorable characters, and stunning animation. Overall, Pixar's messages to kids revolve around important life lessons and values such as friendship, family, perseverance, self-discovery, empathy, and the power of love. These messages are delivered through engaging and entertaining stories that resonate with audiences of all ages, making Pixar films not only enjoyable but also enriching for young viewers.
Description
Throughout the school year, we want our students to enjoy a great PIXAR movie during lunch hours every Friday in our Cafetorium. Here are some of the Pixar movies that our students will be watching: Toy story, A bug’s life, Monster Inc, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Cars, Ratatouille, WALL-E, Up, among others.
Results and Impact Generated
As we already know, Pixar is our Seniors theme for this year. We want our students to connect with our Seniors and feel close to them throughout the year. We want our students to support all the initiatives that our Seniors will provide to us.
We hope our students enjoy the movie and walk away with life messages they can easily apply and transfer into their daily lives. For example: friendship, family, perseverance, self-discovery, acceptance and inclusion, empathy, environmental awareness, creativity, teamwork, facing fears, love and kindness.
