Purpose
Our school offers elective courses to students, providing them with the opportunity to explore a wide range of subjects beyond their core or required curriculum. Elective courses are designed to allow students to pursue their interests, develop new skills, and gain exposure to different fields of study.
Description
In our school, we offer a series of elective courses that are categorized into lower and upper elementary, middle and high school.
Some of the electives for Lower Elementary (2th and 3rd grade) which take place every Tuesday at the end of the day are:
Some of the electives for Upper Elementary (4th, 5th and 6th grade) which take place every Tuesday at the end of the day are:
Some of the electives for Middle School (7th, 8th, and 9th grade) which take place every Tuesday at the end of the day are:
Some of the electives for High School (10th, 11th, and 12th grade) which take place every Tuesday at the end of the day are:
Students will explore and enjoy their elective for the whole semester till December. Later on, during the month of January, students will have the opportunity to switch and explore a new and different elective. We would collect student’s perceptions and feedback to adjust the program for future occasions.
Results and Impact Generated
Overall, elective courses play a vital role in enriching the educational experience, allowing students to explore their interests, develop a wide range of skills, and prepare for their future paths, whether that involves further education or entering the workforce. They contribute to a well-rounded education that goes beyond core academic subjects.
