METEOR SHOWER - Best known as ‘Lluvia de Estrellas’
Participants:
7th-11th grade
On the night of November 17, the Leonid meteor shower will reach its maximum activity this year. Between 10 and 20 meteors per hour will be visible. Additionally, the date is close to the new moon, therefore light pollution on that date will be low, making observation easier. No instrument is recommended for viewing shooting stars, as these reduce the field of view.
Come and Join us. We will sleep one night in our school. Isn’t that fun? We will be watching the stars all night, a speaker will be invited and we will learn together. A lot of fun activities are planned to entertain you. It will be an unforgettable night: we promise a lot of fun and learning. Don’t forget to complete the forms.
